About The Cascade Collective
and our path
Some businesses begin with a business plan.Ours began at kitchen tables, in group texts, and in the middle of late-night conversations about flowers, timelines, seating charts, and whether the champagne should go on ice or in a vintage tub.
The Cascade Collective was born quietly—first through friends, then family, and then friends-of-friends—when Heather and Mikayla started naturally becoming the people everyone called when a wedding started to feel a little overwhelming. What began as helping someone choose linens or calm last-minute nerves slowly turned into something much bigger: a love for creating weddings that feel deeply personal, beautifully organized, and completely unforgettable.
There was never a formal moment when it “started.” It just… grew. One wedding at a time.
Heather brings an infectious sense of excitement and a deep determination to make every person feel truly special—always going the extra mile to ensure everyone is having the best time possible. She has a natural gift for bringing energy into every space she enters, making couples and guests alike feel celebrated, cared for, and completely at ease. Mikayla brings a calm, intuitive presence and a thoughtful eye for design and detail. She has a way of seeing the full picture before it exists—shaping weddings that feel intentional, cohesive, and deeply reflective of each couple’s story. Her approach is grounded, creative, and quietly magical in the way everything always seems to come together under her care.
Together, Heather and Mikayla balance each other beautifully—energy and ease, excitement and intention, heart and structure.
The Cascade Collective is rooted in the belief that weddings should feel like joy, not pressure. That planning should feel supported, not overwhelming. And that your wedding day should feel like stepping into a moment that was always meant to be yours. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, their work carries a sense of softness and story—evergreen forests, open skies, golden light, and the feeling that something meaningful is unfolding just as it should.
where meaning lingers.
The Heart of It All
Heather and Mikayla believe in the quiet in-between moments just as much as the big ones.
Hands being held before the ceremony begins.
Deep breaths right before you walk down the aisle.
Laughter during toasts that feel more like home than formality.
This is what they create—not just weddings, but experiences that feel effortless, emotional, and entirely unforgettable.
And they feel deeply honored every time they get to be part of it.
